With all the warm weather we’ve been having recently, I don’t know about you but I’ve just wanted to get the barbecue out! If you’ve not had your barbecue out yet, why not? But don’t worry as I have some Jack Daniels BBQ sauce recipes to give you some ideas and inspiration for your own barbecue.

No barbecue is complete without chicken right?! Is there a better combination than chicken and vegetables for kebabs? These healthy chicken kebabs would make a great choice for any barbecue and are very quick and easy to prepare.

Jack Daniels Honey glazed chicken kebabs

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons Jack Daniel’s® Extra Hot Habanero Barbecue Sauce

1 tablespoon of olive oil

675g skinless chicken breast

3 tablespoons butter melted for basting

25g fresh coriander finely chopped

Method:

Mix 4 tablespoons of Jack Daniels honey barbecue sauce with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Cut the chicken up into small pieces and brush over the Jack Daniels honey marinade.

Cut up chunks of pepper & mushroom then chill in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Place the pieces of chicken and vegetables onto the skewers.

Grill on the barbecue for 5-6 minutes or until cooked through.

Of course no barbecue would be complete without a bit of the squeaky stuff! Of course I’m talking about grilled haloumi! Perfect as barbecue snack or starter!
