Autumn outfit wishlist

Keeping on the autumnal vibe, a bit like my recent post about autumn grooming essentials. I thought its about time I cover another fashion post in the form of a wishlist. This is an outfit that doubles up as casual as well as business casual, so could be a ideal choice for Dress down Friday!

Corduroy trousers

Courdroy is back and in a big way this Autumn! I remember the last time corduroy was in… I think I was at School (I’m showing my age a bit too much there!) Back in those days everyone had a cord jacket! Corduroy trousers* make a great choice this autumn, they’re ideal for that weekend casual look and can also be worn as casual office wear. Think neutral tones like beige, olive and navy.

Checkered shirt

Expect checkered print to be everywhere this Autumn/Winter… jumpers, t-shirts & even trousers! A checkered shirt* would definitely be my preferred choice for this timeless print. You can’t go far wrong with classic combinations like red and black and white and black

Quilt jacket

A quilt jacket is always a popular choice for Autumn/Winter and a personal favourite of mine. This windshield jacket from Barbour is tailored cut for that modern look. I really like the chest pocket detailing and collar strap make it stand out from other quilt jackets.

Chelsea boots

To complete this you can’t go far wrong with a pair of suede Chelsea boots like this pair in tan from Frank Wright.  The thing I really love about Chelsea boots is that they’re great for any occasion… casual, smart casual. They’ll pair with a wide range of different outfits!

Luxurious watch

For me, a watch is essential to completing the look of any outfit. For years, I’ve admired Tag Heur watches like this Formula 1 piece from Chronoexpert Its automatic so no batteries required here and it features extra strong sapphire crystal.
