If your anything like me, the signs you’ve had a heavy weekend out drinking or not had enough sleep! The effects of being tired, stressed and overworked can sometimes all be a bit too visible!  Dark circles and puffy eyes can all be hard to hide… That’s where MMUK Man can help!

Men's Makeup UK

Active eye cream

I’m a big fan of eye creams and always eager to try new ones when I get the opportunity. The under eye area is delicate and needs special care. The MMUK active eye cream can help to combat dark circles and eye bags, which is great if like me the signs you’ve not had enough sleep are all too visible. To use, just apply a tiny amount to your under eye area and allow to dry. It feels soothing on contact with skin and the gel like formula is hydrating and nourishing. Yes it comes in a small 15ml pot, but the concentrated formula means a little goes a long way and the under eye area is only small so should last a good few months.

BB Cream

What’s a BB cream you ask? Well think of it as multi action skincare product, 5-in-1 in fact! This is a hard working moisturiser that also tackles redness, spots, irritated skin, and blemishes. It’s a product that helps to hide any imperfections… (the BB stands for blemish balm) let’s be honest, most of us don’t have perfect skin, but who doesn’t like looking their best?! The BB’s cream 5-in-1 formula includes;  brightening enzymes to provide a healthy glow,  age defense to help firm skin, inbuilt tint to give a more radiant glow, sebum controlling to help control oil and give an anti-shine finish and whitening molecules to improve the appearance of fine lines.

To get the best out of the cream, apply a small amount to a sponge and dab on evenly to skin. You don’t need to worry about it looking feminine… it really doesn’t.. even though it does have a slight tint! I mean why wouldn’t you want to use a multi-action moisturiser that also helps improve the look of blemishes and imperfections?

Under eye concealer

If your dark circles are well, a bit dark you might need a bit of help in making them appear less obvious. The MMUK under eye concealer is perfect to help hide those dark circles and general signs of fatigue. Application of the liquid based products is practically fool proof, through the very easy to use wand! Simply apply a small amount to the under eye area then all you need to do is just blend in with your finger tip or a blending brush. It’s really that easy and gives a natural looking finish. What’s more its a dual acting product; moisturising and hydrating the under eye area whilst at the same time covering the appearance of any dark circles.

Concealer stick

Recently I’ve had a few unwelcome breakouts which if you ever get can stand out and look a bit unsightly! If you have any slight imperfections that you’d just rather be without this little stick can really help you out! It’ll cover up practically every imperfection you could have; blemishes, spots, redness, breakouts, scars you name it, it’ll probably cover it! Voted ‘Best male cover up’ in GQ and it’s easy to see why!

MMUK Concealer stick

Application of the concealer stick couldn’t be easier, just untwist the screw top and then just dab a tiny amount onto the troublesome area, for larger imperfections, a little more is needed! Blend around the edges of the area lightly with your finger tip or a blending brush for that ultimate professional finish! It gives a very natural finish and removal is easy with warm water or MMUK Makeup for men remover.

What an excellent review. There are none of these products in our house but I often wonder why bloggers and columnists don’t address dark circles more often. Thanks.
