The demand and popularity of naturally made grooming products is at an all time high. One of those brands competing for a share in the market is Mancave. I’m not quite sure how, but I’ve never tried any of their products before! Well not for much longer as I recently got to check out some of their skincare products.
The Mancave brand launched in 2012 after a long product development process which lasted a couple of years in fact! Their products are all 100% naturally derived and all are made in the UK. Their mission is simple; Quality, effective, premium, natural products… all at a fair price. Their products are packed with essential oils and natural extracts and most importantly ‘no nasties’ and are even suitable for vegans.
The thing that really stands out for me about these Mancave products is the fragrance, It’s unique and captivating. It’s fresh and slightly woody with hints of tea tree oil, but not too overpowering. I can’t think of a better masculine scent for a range of skincare products.
Olivestone Face Scrub
Exfoliation of skin can reduce the occurrence of blocked pores and blackheads, a face scrub isn’t a product I would use every day, but more a few times a week for a deep cleanse of pores and to remove dead skin cells. The power of exfoliation in this product is from fine grains of olive stone powder which means it’s not too aggressive like other scrubs made from pumice stone can be. It also contains horsechestnut extract which helps to hydrate skin after exfoliation.
Sensitive Face Wash
Some face washes can have a tendency to dry out skin, but not this one. It’s formulated with aloe vera and cucumber to gently cleanse and nourish skin without causing irritation. It’s gentle cleansing properties are effective at removing daily dirt build up, yet staying friendly to even sensitive skin. The quality of the face wash I used the face wash wash morning and night as part of my daily routine, i. It does leave your skin feeling cleansed and nourished.
Cedarwood Shower Gel
Like the face wash, the shower gel has a lovely thick consistency giving it a real quality feel. It doesn’t foam up that well but don’t let that put you off! It’s very nourishing and hydrating and that cedarwood scent is just amazing! It’s been really nice using it whether its on a morning to help wake you up or after a workout at the gym to re-energise.
I’m a big fan of moisturisers with added SPF it gives you the added benefit that you don’t need to carry a separate sun cream… well for your face anyway! What’s more it gives you a high level of protection as its SPF 20. Mancave’s latest addition to their range, this cream is formulated with shea butter and vitamin E to help hydrate and protect. It’s thickish consistency does take a bit of massaging in to skin, but it doesn’t leave any greasy or oily residue, ideal for use as a daily moisturiser.
For me, the 2 years Mancave have spent in product development has been really well spent, the quality of the Mancave products is possibly my favourite range of natural grooming products. You can purchase any of these products and others in the range direct from Mancave.
