You might of seen my recent December Empties post, here I’d like to share with you some of the products I’ve used in January. A little late I know, but last week I was away on a skiing trip (review post coming soon) and didn’t get chance to post, skiing and apres-ski took priority!
The Real Shaving Company Daily Facial Scrub
I picked up this facial scrub a while ago, but only got round to using it recently. This scrub is very affordable priced around £1.49. It’s quite a coarse scrub, maybe a little bit too coarse for daily use on facial skin. It didn’t lather up like some other face scrubs I’ve used and the scent isn’t that great. I have to say it’s not a product I’d purchase again. For me, there are much better scrubs available. It might be up your street if you’re looking for a more affordable face scrub as it’s a lot cheaper than other brands available.
V05 Extreme Style Clean Up 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner
Ordinarily I prefer to use separate shampoo and conditioner, a 2-in-1 is a great alternative if you need to travel a bit lighter, perfect to have in your gym bag. It cuts through daily grease and grime and remaining hair product, leaving your hair feeling soft, fresh and clean. It’s a relatively affordable product too, priced around £2.
Nivea Body Lotion Intensive Moisture
I’ve tried quite a few different products in the Nivea range. I found this body lotion is a good everyday, hydrating body cream and has been in my gym back the last few weeks. It’s quite thin in consistency which makes application easy. I actually picked up this in a pound shop
Next Black Suede Fragrance
Next have a range of affordable fragrances ranging from £8. Black suede has a strong likeliness to one of my favourite scents, Armani Code. Although it’s not quite as strong as it’s equivalent and the longevity is not as good also. For me, this was a perfect day time office wear scent, but works just as well for casual after work drinks.
