What I’m Looking Forward to in 2017

2017 has well and truly landed! It’s crazy just how fast the Christmas holidays have gone. Did you catch my recent post, where I talked about getting back on track at the gym? Here I’d like to share just a few things I’m looking forward to this year!

Visiting Scotland

The Yorkshire Gentleman will be travelling up North to Scotland very soon. I can’t wait to explore some of the sites and trying some traditional Scottish food and maybe a wee dram or 3!

Skiing trip

This will be my third skiing trip and my second to Italy. It’s fair to say, I’m well and truly hooked! A few years ago, the idea of a winter snow holiday didn’t even appeal to me. Now its something I look forward to all year!

New restaurants

Last year I got to experience lots of new restaurants and all kinds of new of food. There’s so many on my ‘to go to list’ including a few Michelin star restaurants. I very much look forward to carrying this on in 2017.

Travelling & seeing more countries

2016 was a good year for getting to see some new countries, Thailand is the top of my list for this year, I’ve been wanting to go for ages, I just need to find a willing travel partner!

New blog opportunities

2016 was a great year for the Yorkshire Gentleman and getting the opportunity to work with with some great brands and companies. I honestly can’t wait to see what 2017 will bring! I’ve already got a few things booked in for January, so watch this space for some brand new exciting content!

UK travel

There’s so many amazing parts of this country I’ve not discovered yet. I’d love to explore the Cotswolds or the Norfolk Broads and I’ve always wanted to do the touristy thing in London and see all the sites like Buckingham Palace and dine at The Shard.

At the moment I have pretty much no plans for the year ahead except for next weekend I'm heading to Autosport International in Birmingham and I am so freakin' excited!
