My Top UK Travel Destinations of 2016

You might have seen my recent post in which I set out my favourite restaurants of 2016. Here I thought I’d share with you the best of the UK travel destinations I’ve visited.

Low Mill Guest House, North Yorkshire

An award winning Guest House tucked away in Bainbridge, a small village in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. They won Guest accommodation of the year again at the White Rose awards, it’s easy to see why they’ve won so many awards. See my review here.

North Star Club, Yorkshire Wolds

Think Centre Parcs but on a much smaller scale, more secluded and luxurious authentic log cabins. Set within 500 acres of woodland, you couldn’t get much closer to nature. It’s the ultimate glamping get away! Read my full review here.

Beech Hill Hotel, Windermere

What an amazing setting for a Hotel and spa, sat upon the banks of Lake Windermere. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing break and the food is pretty good, Burlington’s serve some amazing and delicious dishes from locally sourced ingredients. Read my full review here.
